All three of Flandreau Public’s Schools were involved in the annual SOUPer Bowl to benefit the shelves and patrons of the Moody County Breadbasket. Last Friday the Student Council members from the Elementary School and the Middle School, along with some volunteer students from the High School, delivered several thousand items to the local food pantry. The five elementary grades, led by Mrs. Susan Damm shown at far left, gathered over 1450 items to donate, while the middle school, grades 5-8 led by Mrs. Amber Hoffman, at far right, collected 835 items. Number of items at the high school were 500 and $150.
