Flandreau Farmer Wins First Place in 2023 National Corn Yield Contest

Flandreau farmer Eugene Johnson earned a first-place state award in the 2023 National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) National Corn Yield Contest with a yield of 271.57 bushels per acre. Johnson won with DEKALB® DKC59-81RIB brand blend in the Conventional Non-Irrigated Class and is one of the top corn growers in the nation.

Indiana farmer Kevin Kalb achieved a record yield for his farm and the overall highest non-irrigated yield with 425 bushels per acre in the NCGA 2023 National Corn Yield Contest with DEKALB® DKC68-35RIB Brand Blend.
