Wednesday vs. Garretson
FLANDREAU – Flandreau posted crooked numbers in four of the six innings in which they batted, including four in the bottom of the sixth to break the game open, going on to defeat Garretson 11-6 on Wednesday night in Flandreau.
Logan Voelker and Kolby Peters each had three hits to lead the Flandreau bats, with Peters driving in two and Voelker one. Two of Peters’ hits were for doubles, as was one of Voelker’s.
Dylan Christenson and Tash Lunday added two hits each.
Tanner Christenson, Lane Johanson, and Karter Headrick had a hit each to round out Flandreau’s offense.
Lunday pitched a complete game to earn the win, striking out eight against just one walk. The senior allowed six runs (four earned) while scattering seven hits and hitting a pair of batters.


Sunday vs. Hanson-Bridgewater/Emery
ALEXANDRIA – Flandreau allowed three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning after opening a 3-1 lead through four innings, falling to HBE 4-3.
Flandreau had the bases loaded in the seventh inning but a double play ended the game.
All four runs scored by the Dawgs were unearned.
Karter Headrick had two of Flandreau’s five hits and an RBI.
Tash Lunday homered and drove in two runs.
Kolby Peters took the loss despite a strong outing. He gave up just five hits and allowed all four unearned runs. Peters walked three and recorded nine strikeouts.
Tanner Christenson worked the sixth inning and picked up a pair of strikeouts.
Flandreau (4-6) is at West Central on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. before returning home Sunday against Tri-Valley at 3 p.m.
