Annual Boys and Girls Club shed Raffle begins

Posted

In an effort to better serve an increasing number of children and programs, the Boys and Girls Club of Moody County is launching its 10th annual Shed Raffle to support the organization’s year-round operations.                                                                                                                                       Club officials attended this past City Council meeting to announce the event again this year. Tickets are $30 each, only 500 will be sold. Grand prize is an Old Hickory Playhouse shed, $3500 in credit towards a different shed, or $3,000 in cash prizes.
“The money raised from ticket sales goes to helping us run so many great programs throughout the year such as Club Tutors, Be “You” tiful, and our mentoring program. The staff at the Club are here for the youth in the community and we appreciate all the support from the community throughout the year, especially at the time of the raffle! All of this is for the kids!” said Hailey Adams, Executive Director.
Early Bird prizes will be drawn each Friday during the weeks leading up to the grand prize drawing on June 29th and names will be re-entered after winning.
Tickets can be purchased at the Club or at First National Bank, The Spot, Maynard’s, River’s Edge Co-op or online at the Club website greatfuturessd.org. The drawing will be held in person at the Club at 5:30 pm, June 29th. This will be a free family friendly event with a meal, games, present-to-win prizes, and the grand prize raffle winner will be announced near the end of the hour. You do not need to be present to win. For more information please contact Cierra Steffensen at (605) 692-3333 or email csteffensen@greatfuturessd.org.
